PETA is kind of bollocks
There, the big one is out of the way. But I’m sorry people need to know facts from somewhere besides PETA. They have a good cause-animal liberation is fantastic, humanity is pretty fucked and the way we treat animals is horrible. If you are vegetarian or vegan and actually follow through with it, four candy canes for you- you go vegan coco.HOWEVER, PETA fans should reconsider their blind faith in the organisation unless the complete motives of it align with their own beliefs. Most people think they totally agree with Peta but most people only think of them as a “lets save the animals, stop eating/wearing them!” organisation.
Please consider the following:
1. For an animal liberation group that firebombs shelters where animals are kept in good health, well fed and exercised (skinny, sick puppies don’t get adopted kiddies!) this is a fuckton of dead animals on the hands of PETA:
2. I’m sorry, but your sexist fucking ad campaigns will not sell me your idealogy. If you’re against meat, don’t fucking sell women as meat. Stop using sex to sell your agenda. For fucks sake: this, this and this are just 3 examples. If you do not recognise this as sexism please watch this and this the education is kinda vital.
3. Their definition of animal liberation is complete liberation: this means no pets, no breeding (not just puppy mills, but all breeding: even little mittens and sox your kitties at home who got it on while you were asleep.)
Rather than turning this into a petty attack though, I will conclude reasoning with some top shelf quotes from PETA.

Yay for PETA, sexist and ableist!
So please continue your individual quest for animal rights, I am honestly not mocking your cause but take a step back and think about what you’re REALLY supporting. There are literally thousands of animal welfare organisations that do fantastic work on far less donations, scare campaigns and sexism.
Do your research and find a way to truly help out, not swell your ego by saying you’re helping the animals without understanding the full story.
Don’t see pictures of pretty girls and dead animals and think it’s the whole and only truth.
PS: I AGREE THAT FUR IS FUCKED, MASS PRODUCTION OF ANIMAL BASED PRODUCTS IS FUCKED AND ANIMAL TESTING NEEDS TO BE BACKED THE FUCK UP BUT PETA IS SO DERANGED AT TIMES!
